    1. What is web site hosting?
      We specialize in web site hosting, meaning that you can place your web site on our servers and establish a presence on the Internet. We can also register your own domain name for you. This will become your unique address on the World Wide Web (www.yourdomain.com).



    2. How does it work?
      First, you must have your own domain name. You can registered you domain name by clicking here Registration costs $17.45/year. If you already own a domain and wish to have it hosted with weblinenet.com, just update your domain to our name servers.  



    3. Will I be able to access my domain name with or without the www?
      Yes, you will be able to access the domain name with or without the www in front. For example, you could access the domain name "yourdomain.com" by going to "www.yourdomain.com" as well as "yourdomain.com".
      Will I have unlimited access to update my pages ?
      You have unlimited access via FTP 24-hours a day. As such, you can create and maintain your web pages on your own computer and upload files to your web site at your convenience.

       
    4. Is there a minimum time contract/commitment?
      Not at all. You can pay monthly, quarterly, or yearly. You can also cancel at any time.
    5. How soon will my account be set up and ready for use?
      Once we have processed your credit card payment your account will be set up within 5-15 minutes. Your site can be uploaded to our servers immediately after receiving the welcome email, which will contain the IP address for your account, plus the password for the username chosen during sign-up. In fact, we recommend that clients start uploading their site as soon as possible after setup is complete, so that once domain transfer is completed, the site will be available for use by your visitors. Propagation is the process where DNS servers throughout the world update their records to point to your new hosting provider.
    6. Can you register a domain name for me? Can you set up domains other than .com, .org, and .net?
      We can register .com, .org, .net, .biz and .us names for $17.45/year, with you as the registrant. We can also assist with registering other domains, as well (fees for registering other domains will vary by country). Please contact our sales department if you require assistance in registering other domain types.


    7. Do you offer a money back guarantee?
      Yes. If for any reason during the first 15 days as a Weblinenet customer, you are not completely satisfied with any of our services except dedicated servers, we will cancel your account and refund your money for that month's service.

    8. I see some hosts offering "unlimited bandwidth". Why don't you offer this?
      Technically speaking, there is no such thing as "unlimited bandwidth". Someone has to pay for the traffic somewhere - and if you check the fine print of some service agreements from companies who claim to offer unlimited bandwidth, you'll probably find that they do charge for traffic over a certain amount. We dispense with the fine print.


    9. Do you host  warez sites or sites containing illegal material?
      No. We are not host any of this kind of illegal material. Any user found to upload any of these his/her account will be terminated with or without notice.


    10. Is my site backed up and how often?
      Yes backups are done daily on all servers. The full backups are placed onto tapes and are stored for one month.

    12. What are your server specifications?
      We are using different kind of servers. All of them are running Red Hat Linux and Apache Web Server.                                             Contact us for current server specifications.
    13. Transferring your Domain
      In order to transfer/move your domain name to Weblinenet you need to contact your domain name registrar (the company you registered your domain with) and update the "DNS" records for your domain to reflect our DNS servers.


      Weblinenet DNS Servers are:

      Once your domain name registrar sends a confirmation notice that your domain name records have been updated and that your domain has been transferred, it can take from 24 hours to 4 days before the domain name points to our network.

      Please Note: To prevent your site from experiencing downtime, it is recommended that you do not cancel your existing web hosting account for a period of 3-6 days after your domain registrar has updated your domain records. You can download your files and upload them to your new account as soon as your account is setup.
